Grass labyrinths are both the most permanent and impermanent. They are easily maintained though need constant maintenance.
Moderately challenging to maintain; as it grows it will need to be trimmed to keep from falling on the path. Needs constant maintenance. Kelley K. Quinn, Lakeview Labyrinth, Macomb, Illinois Kelleykquinn.com
Easy to maintain
Easier to maintain than grass labyrinths as mower blade does not need to be lowered. Price does not include bricks as there are many styles and designs ranging greatly in price.
Easy to maintain with weed barrier below substrate, though seeds can still blow in and take root on surface, which needs to be maintained.
Street paint needs to go on a stable surface such as cured concrete or asphalt. These are the most colorful and many wonderful mandala designs can be incorporated into the labyrinth for added interest. Paint Longevity is dependent upon weather conditions and stability of the surface. Price includes all materials.

Granitite needs to go on a stable base of cured concrete. Granitite is crushed granite so it will not fade. This is the most permanent and needs to be resealed annually to maintain. This includes the cost of the granitite, not the cost of concrete substrate. If you choose this route, there are guidelines to follow for the concrete installation.
